Vision, Mission and Principles

Our vision is that there is an effective housing market where people with disability are shaping a range of quality options and have the assistance they need to live well in the community, deciding where, how and who to live with. The Housing Hub user groups to design solutions centred around simplicity and quality, demystifying what can be a complex sector through collaboration and innovation. We will continue to lead the way and make it easier for people to get into the right home while staying true to our values, and keep people with disability at the centre of everything we do.

Our mission is to make a meaningful, positive impact on people's lives. Our team is dedicated to social change and playing our part in improving the lives of others. We work with purpose and passion, focusing on people, not profit. As a leader in the sector, we prioritise collaboration and innovation. In what can often be a complex environment, we focus on simplicity and delivering high-quality solutions.

Our principles guide our work, behaviour, and decisions.

Trusted & Supportive - “We support you every step of the way”

  • We understand the journey to finding accessible housing can be daunting. For many, it’s an overwhelming process with no clear starting point. That's where we come in. Every touchpoint across our brand should simplify the housing journey and help people achieve their goals. By offering everything in one place, we can make the process easier and build trust that our community is a safe and supportive space.

Possibilities - “We raise expectations”

Everyone should live in a home that suits them, and this is what drives us. We work collaboratively to help people realise what is possible for their housing goals. Our community offers so much more than what people might initially perceive and we support people to realise this. We continually expand expectations and we do it by working together to create change. Every choice we make should unlock real opportunities and make way for better outcomes across the sector.

Quality - “We lead the way”

We see ourselves as experts, taking every opportunity to educate others and redefine what quality accessible housing looks like. This means every outcome we work towards should deliver in quality and set the standard for excellence — from our support services, through to our resources, and housing options. By fulfilling our own commitment to quality housing solutions, we can simultaneously lead the sector.

Impactful “We get results”

We believe in making a real difference in the lives of people with disability and we have the results to prove it. Beyond a supportive community, we want to be a driving force for change for the entire sector. Everything we do should work to achieve positive outcomes and create a more accessible future. Whether it's simplifying the housing journey, helping achieve greater independence, or educating others, creating impact on an individual and sector level is our way of knowing we’re doing things right.

Acknowledgements

The Housing Hub acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional owners of this country and pays respect to their cultures and elders past, present and future. The Housing Hub wishes to thank the Commonwealth and State Governments who supported us at the very start of our journey. Very importantly, we would also like to thank the community we serve, including Housing Seekers, their support teams and Housing Providers, for their loyalty and support.
